After some awaited notifications The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would release an official notification of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2019 examination in May (Expected) 2019 on its official website. Candidates who are eligible and interested in the exam can visit the website for further details regarding SSC CGL 2019 Exam at www.ssc.nic.in

SSC CGL Notification 2019-2020

Staff Selection Notification for 2019-20 is released on 22nd October 2019. SSC conducts SSC CGL every year to recruit staff for Grade “B” and “C” category posts at various Government Ministries, Departments, and the Subordinate Offices.

Aspirants look for taking up the opportunity to take up the recruitment process and get selected to take up the challenging careers offered by SSC with a very lucrative salary and benefits. Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC in the well sought positions in the Government Departments.

SSC CGL is a Four tiered exam, in which tier I and tier II are computer-based (CB)0, as in tier III and IV, job applicants take up a descriptive paper and a computer proficiency test or skill test and document verification. The entire process of registration & communication will be online through the SSCs Official website. Aspirants must qualify each phase of the SSC CGL exam to go on to the next one, before being finally selected.

As per last year's notification released by SSC, a total of 8089 vacancies were to be filled by SSC CGL 2018 exam. Hence, this year also 8000+ vacancies are expected to be filled by SSC.

Online Application process for SSC CGL 2019

1.First of all, log in to the official website http://ssc.nic.in

2.Register as a new user at the website which can be created by using a valid email ID and phone number. You will get OTP of the required ID you want to generate for the SSC portal.

3.After you click on the Apply button, you will get the application form, fill it online.

4.You need to have the scanned copies of the recent passport size photograph, signature, and thumb impression to fill the application.

5.You can pay the application fee online or through a Challan which will be generated after you have filled in the required application of SSC CGL 2019 Exam.

6.After registration click on the Apply button to get the application submitted to the portal.

7.Then click on the Submit button after cross-checking the details or else you will not be able to make any changes afterward.

8.Download the duly filled-in application form.

9.Take the print out for future references.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2018-19 - Tier IV

Tier 4 Exam of SSC CGL Exam 2019 will have a couple of skill tests that are necessary for certain government posts.

1.DEST (Data Entry Speed Test): It is a qualifying candidate skill test for all the posts, other than Compiler. It is held to test the typing speed of the candidate. In this test, the candidates are given the printed material in English which they should type accurately on a computer with a minimum of 2000 key depressions. The duration of this test is 15 minutes.

2.CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): SSC will hold CPT in three modules - Word Processing, Spread Sheet and Generation of Slides. CPT is a test for the posts of Assistant Section Officer in CSS, MEA & AFHQ, Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines, Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer) & Inspector (Examiner) in CBIC.

3.Document Verification: The last step of the final selection would be document verification

Interview Details for SSC CGL

The interview is not conducted for the recruitments in SSC CGL Exam. It has an objective and descriptive exam pattern. On the basis of the same, merit is generated and the candidates who successfully clear all the phases are appointed for the post in the requisite Government Department or Ministry.

Admit Card for SSC CGL 2019

The candidates registering for SSC CGL Exam 2019 within the given time will be assigned an e-admit card/hall ticket/call letter which can be downloaded from the official website of SSC. The admit card for the CGL Tier-I exam will be released first followed by the admit card of the CGL Tier-II exam (administered to only those candidates who qualify for the Tier 1 exam).

How to download admit card of SSC CGL Tier I 2019 examination?

Admit cards for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination 2019 will be released by Staff Selection Commission on its official website at ssc.nic.in. as per the 2017 official notification in the year 2019.

SSC CGL Exam will be conducted to recruit non-technical Group B and Group C non- gazetted posts lying vacant at various departments and ministries of the government of India. This exam is held every year for the graduates who aspire for officer level posts.

The applicants for the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Tier I can download their subsequent admit card from the official website of Staff Selection Commission.

The steps involved in this process are as follows:

Step 1: Go to the official website of SSC.

Step 2: Then click on the 'Admit Card' link on the top of the screen.

Step 3: You will be directed to a pop window showing 9 regional centers and their websites.

Step 4: Click on the relevant region and visit the subsequent website.

Step 5: After that, you click on the link Download Admit Card at the left side and then press Click.

Download e-admit card of COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION, 2019 (TIER-I) Step 6. You have to enter your Registration ID/Roll No. followed by the Captcha and then submit the same.

Step 7: Now you can download and take the print out of your admit card.
